RSVP Gallery Multiple Options Products

Adding a product with multiple options

A product with multiple options is just like any other product and so to begin with, create a new product and follow the steps below

Steps:

1. Copy the product id of the newly created product. The productID can be found in url of your browser. For example https://rsvp-gallery.myshopify.com/admin/products/4811619991586 4811619991586 is the productID

2. Paste the productID at the end of the following links to add the product options, the product option name and the product option count. (Bookmark these link for future use) Options https://rsvp-gallery.myshopify.com/admin/bulk?resource_name=Product&edit=metafields.global.product_options&ids= Option Name https://rsvp-gallery.myshopify.com/admin/bulk?resource_name=Product&edit=metafields.global.product_options_name&ids= Option Count https://rsvp-gallery.myshopify.com/admin/bulk?resource_name=Product&edit=metafields.global.product_options_count&ids= For example for productID 4811619991586, the links to enter the options info will be Options https://rsvp-gallery.myshopify.com/admin/bulk?resource_name=Product&edit=metafields.global.product_options&ids=4811619991586 Option Name

   3. For Options, enter a list of comma separated option value available for customers to choose from. For example to give customers the option to select from a list of 8 colors

4. For Option Name enter the pluralized option name

5. For Option Count enter the number of options a customer must choose before they can add the product to their shopping bag

6. You can now publish the product and it should appear on the web store like this

After a customer selects the number of options equal to number in step 4, the add to bag button will appear

After a customer places an order you can find a list of the product options on the order page.

Please note that it is not possible to track inventory for the different options. Do not use this method if you need to track inventory for different product options
